La Haute Vairie is situated 10 miles north of the historic Medieval town of Fougères, and 30 minutes drive from Le Mont Saint Michel, putting the many attractions of Haute Bretagne and Basse Normandie within easy reach.

The house is a short walk from the village of Mellé, with its shop, post office, bar and restaurant. The nearby market towns of Louvigné du Desert, St James, St Hillaire   and Fougères provide a larger selection of local shops and good restaurants.

Mellé can be found on the D14, between St James and Louvigné du Desert. Detailed directions will be provided with the booking confirmation.

The Channel Ports of St Malo (1 hour), Caen (1 hour 45 minutes), and Cherbourg (2 hours 30 minutes) make La Haute Vairie easily accessible.
